Through these initiatives, we provide pro bono legal counsel, strategic advisory services, and, when needed, full trial representation to nonprofits, public sector employees, and disadvantaged groups—work made possible by the generosity of our donors. We champion equity, access to justice, and sustainable development, relying on community support to reach those most in need.
Why We Seek Donations
The need is great, and the resources of many communities are limited. Donations are essential because they allow us to:

Why This Work Matters to Calvin Grigsby
Calvin Grigsby’s passion for community impact stems from his upbringing in Hope, Arkansas, where he witnessed injustice and systemic barriers firsthand. His father, a principal and stockbroker, and his mother, a dedicated teacher, instilled in Calvin a deep respect for education, service, and community. Despite excelling academically, Calvin experienced the reality of racism throughout his education. He vividly remembers his father’s tireless efforts to secure better resources for Black students, often meeting resistance from the broader system. These early experiences impressed upon Calvin the critical importance of equity and access, fueling his lifelong commitment to opening doors for others. Today, through the Community Impact Initiative, Calvin works to ensure those facing unfair obstacles receive the support, advocacy, and trial representation they deserve.
